We' ve been owned by Keeshonden since 1984.  We carefully breed quality dogs on a limited basis for both the show ring and as companions, and only after consideration of health test results and temperament. 

Our first, Keesha, was a family pet who led a happy life for 15 years.  She would only go to bed after a bribe of bologna, and could hear a refrigerator open from a mile away.  Keesha lived first with my sister in Savannah, Georgia, then in the greater Chicago area.  When she turned 13, she came to live with us in New Jersey.  Keesha was a bit unusual in that she didn't bark.  She was definitely a couch potato who loved having her tummy rubbed and birthday cheeseburgers.

Zorra is the foundation of our kennel.  View her health test results and her pedigree.  She lives indoors in central Colorado and is being shown in conformation both locally and in neighboring states.  We think she'd be a natural at agility, too.

Zorra's an energetic girl who loves "kisses in the chair" and to go for rides in the car.  She especially loves those drive-thru windows that dispense doggie treats.  Zorra's second favorite place is Petsmart - the treat aisle, of course!  She's been well-socialized to other dogs by participating in doggie day camp, playing with great danes, toy poodles and every breed in between.  We often travel to shows with our buddy Aurora.

Zorra was bred by Jennifer McClure and Diane Wright of Jen 'n Di Keeshonden. 


Pele is a gorgeous puppy from Zorra and Ligs.  Pele is either a former Brazilian soccer star or a Hawaiian volcano god.  Take your pick.  He's in training for the show ring, with a debut planned for the Keeshond Nationals in May.  He plays with Mom and a miniature schnauzer friends in the neighborhood.  A stuffed pheasant bigger than him is his favorite toy.
